Question about a problem with my playstation 2?
May be...
My son is having a problem with his playstation and I thought I would ask to see if anyone out there is a wiz at game systems and could tell me what the problem might be.
My son has been using this system for about 2 years and it's never had this problem. When he goes to play a game, it will tell him that he needs a "dual shock" controller to play this game. He is using a dual shock controller...the same one he's always used, and has always worked. What could be the problem? Is there a simple way we can fix it without buying a new controller??? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
KellyMake sure the small button in the middle of the controller is turned on. If it's on, you should see a small red light under the button. If it doesn't turn on, then I think it's time for a new controller
Make sure the controller is plugged in too. Try unplugging it from the Playstation, blowing in both the system and controller, and then plug it back in again.try buying a new one.. answer mine? ps2----
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...Try blowing in the slot where you put the controller in or it may be time to buy a new one.try plugging it in slot 2, if it works then cool the controller is fine...if not then faulty controller.its about time u got him a ps3
