What ps3 game(s) should i get?

May be...

i like sports and some shooter/action/rp games



had a regular old xbox that i rarely play these days with a few sports and gta and brothers in arms that i can think of at the moment.



i was thinking of getting bros in arms hells highway, since i have the first 2 on reg xbox...possibly mgs4 but im not too sure if i'll like the fast pace fps/tps but am willing to give it a try..also i really never played online but i will given he chance.



like mainly sports, some rpgs, some fps/tps and fighting games



should i get mgs4 or wait til 5 comes out

sf4

far cry2 i think

or any other good ones you can think



lets not forget, im a casual gamer, not some hardcore know all the moves,glitches,cheats type gamer

You definitely need to get Metal Gear Solid 4. It's brings out the best of the PS3's hardware, and also comes with Metal Gear Online, which is personally one of the best online multiplayer components of any game I've seen. Another game you cannot pass up is GTA IV. That's a game that should be a part of every PS3 collection. My opinion on Far Cry 2 is that it's decent. I have all three of the games I listed, and I can tell you Far Cry is a unique play, but only if you can stand it until the end. The reason i say this is that on the back of the box, it says the story will take over 50 hours, and they're right. It's all open world, but that's the drawback, because you have to travel from point A to point B, and it sometimes takes a while. If you can stand playing until the end, then it's a good experience.



Oh, and what you said about Metal Gear Solid 5. You probably saw the new that Konami trademarked the title Existence. Rumor has it that it won't be a new Metal Gear Solid; it actually may be a special edition of MGS 4.





But that's my opinion. There all good games. My advice, if you ever want to buy a game, wait for the review. If not, you may risk wasting $60.

GTA isn't an RPG.



You should get MGS4, it isn't a fast paced FPS. You don't even need to use 1st person mode, it's more about tactics, if you go into a battle field all guns blazing you'll die. It consists of mostly sneaking. It's the PS3's best exclusive.



Don't get Assassins Creed, that game is a waste of money. If you are in to fighting games then get SFIV

Get FALLOUT 3.



It's the best damn thing that ever happened to 2008.



Put short- 'What happens in the world gets devastated by nuclear war'.



Really,anyone with the right mind in gaming will LOVE this game.

Get Killzone 2 if you don't already own it, that game is awesome !! I would also highly recommend Uncharted:Drake's Fortune.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warefare or Call of Duty: World at War. You will not regret getting any of these games, they are very addictive and fun to play.

Resident Evil V came out a few days ago and I highly recommend it if you like rp and action games. Also, CoD 5 for a shooter game and NBA Live 08' are great as well =)

Im pretty sure you need to get MGS4 on ps3 because it's an experience that shouldn't be missed, especially if you want to play online. Killzone 2 is another great FPS on ps3 and GTA IV is an awesome game. GTA IV and MGS4 are the ones you should really be looking at. For RPG's Oblivion is probably the best you can find on PS3. As for Far Cry 2....... its not as good as MGS4 or Killzone 2. Assassins Creed is a good game but trust me, you will get pretty bored after you finish it. SF4 is a good refresh of the older games, but nothing groundbreaking. If you've played the others, then you won't really find much there unless you are a big fan. But if you can't play online then you should really hook up your PS3 to the net and get a whole new different experience of any game, because without it, you won't find as much fun as you should with the PS3.

I wouldn't recommend buying assassins creed, but Far cry 2 is a Pretty good game, its Pretty deep though (in story and gameplay). I don't think there making another metal gear solid game, so i would recommend buying mgs4 coz its a must have for ps3. I would definitely recommend you buy Killzone 2, its one of the best first person shooters out at the moment, and another must buy. Also if you like rpg's like GTA, i would buy saints row 2, its like a fun version of GTA, its Pretty good. So yeah get the classics, and the ps3 only games like ive said above, also if you haven't got "Little big planet". That's great fun and worth buying.
