Do I need to pay to sign up for Playstation Network?

May be...
  • On my PS3?
  • it is 100% free unlike xbox live they will ask you a few questions like your name , email , mailing address(they will not mail you a bunch of crap like most things do so it it okay to put it in) and then when you go through the process you will be able to get free stuff like demos, themes, wallpapers, add ons for some games (some you can pay for)and things like that you are also able play games online with people all over the world the only things you have to pay for are full games some add on content and things like that but it tells you if you have to pay for that certain thing you want
  • No, it does ask you for credit card information, but that's for buying stuff in the PlayStation Store. When signing up, it will let you skip that part
  • You don't have to pay anything to get online for the PS3. The only thing you have to have is an existing ISP (Internet Service Provider).
  • Nope! The PSN is completely free and the website, the PSP, the PS2, and the PS3 can all be connected to one account.
  • NOPE they will ask u ur name and stuff like that but wen it comes to the credit card part you can skip
  • No, but you will have to enter some information about yourself.
  • its free!
