Does PS2 Discs work With PS3 ?

I have PS3 with two USB ports



can ps2 discs work with PS3 ?



and should it be original ?



coz my ps2 discs are copies not original

no PS3 will play a copy disc of anything (no PS1, PS2, or PS3 copies). all games MUST be originals with the PS3.

Yes, only the 80gb sku that has 4 usb's & sd slot will play PS2 games. As far as playing illegal copies of anything, well I suggest getting a better job so you can afford the real thing! Report Abuse

No it can't, only PlayStation 3 models with 4 USB ports (Which are the original 20gb model, 60gb model and the old 80gb MotorStorm & Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle PlayStation 3's) can play PS2 games at all and not copied ones either.

It will play original PS2 discs, It will not played copied/burned discs.

Your PS3 will not play any PS2 games, whether it's copied or an original.

I am guessing you have the 80GB system. So no, it does not play PS2 Games.
