My broken PS3 is being returned for another one, will i lose all of my account information?

May be...
  • If your talking about game saves, go to the settings in the XMB and look through. Some where you will see back up system information. You can back it up to a flashdrive. Then save it on your computer ( if youd like,)) so it doesn't get lost. This is assuming you can still turn your ps3 on. If not then you can't. If your talking about PSN information, yea when you get your new ps3 just log in with your old account. You can re-download all the stuff you downloaded before.

since i helped you the most please give me the best answer.
  • You loose your game saves for single player. Once you get your PS3 back you just use the same account you had. Once you get on the store there is a little icon in the top right corner that says "View Downloads" This will bring up a list of everything you have downloaded. You can download games up to 5 times. After that they are gone forever though.

Even though you game saves are gone, your online stats for games will still be there. Also you trophy information will be there as well after you sync it.
  • No you will not loose any of your account information all you need to do is log into the new PS3 with that account and it will all be there
  • Not Ur PSN account, just everything else like game saves, music, videos, etc.
  • Yes you will that is the bad thing about video game systems.
