PS3 Questions! Help!?

May be...
  • I have a 32 inch sharp w a 720 resolution and I'm buying a PS3 system... Which cables would give me the best picture and sound for my tv and should I get the bluetooth headset for the online play or is it not worth it? (I heard online play isn't that great on the PS3 system)

    Thanks in advance

PS: any good games out there for the PS3?
  • Depending on your game selection, you may or may not want a headset. Tactical/shooter games like Metal Gear Solid, SOCOM, and Resistance are always better when you can communicate with your teammates. However, games like LittleBigPlanet don't necessarily need them, although it can make your online experience better. Keep in mind, though that since the PS3 does not come with a headset from the store, that most people don't have a headset.

As far as cables are concerned, make sure to get a good HDMI. If you are in the states, you can get one from Best Buy for a good price. Their brand is called Rocketfish. They come in three varieties: 600, 800, and 1000. The higher the number, the better the cable because it allows for faster communication between the console and TV.
  • Just get a cheap HDMI cable. Don't waste over £20 for it.

    Get a headset.

There are tactical games such as Socom : Confrontation, Warhawk and Killzone 2.

PS3 online is good. No difference to Xbox Live.

    Killzone 2.

Call of Duty 4 (old but great)

    Metal Gear Solid 4.

    LittleBigPlanet.

    Saints Row 2.

Just a few to play when you have nothing else to do.
  • I agree with the first person. Although, unless you want to hear every retard playing say the stupidest, immature, and most irrelevant stuff into your ear ever second you play, i recommend not getting a headset.
  • xbox 360>PS3
  • yeah, man. we want you on here with a mic
