Is xbox360 better than ps3?

May be...

Well.. I bought ps3 months ago, actually i didn't interested in 360 then one day i thought "is 360 better than ps3, am i made mistake?" Well i think 360 has a lot of games than ps3 and cheaper etc. Then i did something wrong? Which one is actually better?

ps3 is actualy better ....i can keep talking till i die for the reasons..... i will tell u ''some''. the reason why its expensive is coz of the graphics. ps3 has sixaxis to make gameplay life-like. even if 360 has halo/gears of war. ps3 has killzone/resistance/littlebigplanet/lair... metal gear solid and so on... ps3 has also better quality.i have both and i did like a competition .trust me ps3 is the greater one.....

it's all about preference. PS3 may have better graphics but 360 has an arguably stronger library. the xbox's library is tilted more towards the preferences of western gamers (i.e. Gears of war 2's manliness and blood which many Asians consider too simple of a story) . where as the library of the PS3 is tilted more towards preferences of Asian gamers (i.e. MGS4 story driven game play which many westerners would consider cheesy and redundant).



but it basically comes down to this. would you rather play games like mass effect, Halo, Gears, of war and forza. Or would you rather play MGS4, Killzone, final fantasy, and grand tourismo.



i personally like the xbox 360 more because of the good games it has, i really couldn't give a damn about if i have the best graphics, because it's all about gameplay for me.



no you didn't make a mistake, just a choice, and it is not a big deal to just buy an xbox too. save some money, do some work, you can have both if you want to.

The xbox360 is better than the ps3 at these games: Halo, Gears of War, Halo Wars. It used to be better at Bioshock, but not anymore. It also is better at Xbox Live.



The ps3 on the other hand is better at Metal Gear Solid 4, Warhawk, Killzone 2, Uncharted Drake's Fortune/Among Thieves, and many others.



Now that I've got the exclusives out of the way... the multiplatform games for ps3 are on blu-ray discs, either 25 or 50gb discs. The xbox ones are on 9gb dvd's. They usually have more content on the ps3.



The ps3 is a more powerful 3d-game running machine. Its cpu, the Cell broadband engine, has a total of 8 processors running at 3.2ghz. The xbox360 has 3. The ps3's graphics chip is clocked at 550mhz and most of its shader pipes can do 27 flops/cycle, compared to 10flops/cycle for all of the xbox's gpu's pipelines. Its total performace is about 400 glops, compared to 240 gflops for the xbox's gpu.



I doubt there is anybody who can name more than 1/4 of the games that have been made for ps3. If you can think of 100, then you might be close. Nobody can buy that many games. The xbox has maybe 20 percent more games at this point, and most of those are from its first year when there was no ps3. so that they are old and irrelevant, and people have mostly stopped playing them already.



The only mistake you may have made is, from the way you type, it sounds like maybe you're playing too many video games and not paying enough attention in school. Other than that, the ps3 is the better machine and you should stick with it.

Well your PS3 it has Blu-ray drive. The 360 doesn't. Your PS3 it has Bluetooth. The 360 it doesn't. Your PS3 it has Wi-Fi. The 360 it doesn't.



The 360 it has huge library games. The PS3 have average library gamed. All 360 games support 1080P. About 75% of all the PS3 games are only 720P. 360 can burn DVD's & Netflix. The PS3 doesn't. The 360 it has better online. The PS3 online is a little lacking.

All the PS3 is better than 360 or Xbox is better than PS3 is all bullcrap. They are litterally the same minus a few features and games. The PS3 is going to be around much longer than the Xbox so it would be a waste of money getting the Xbox now.

No. The PS3 has so many more features. And, no RRoD. The PS3 has like a .3% fail rate while the 360 has 33% chance of fail. Be very happy with your purchase. You made a wise decision. Oh, and one more thing.. Metal Gear Solid 4 I think that's all that has to be said..

Both of them are pretty much equally good, depending on what you're looking for. You'd have to look up some detailed comparisons. I only have PS3 and I don't regret it at all.
