MGS4 Question about collecting the B&B statues?

May be...

If I pick up a statue in a previous save data and then beat that game and then start another game on the same file with a higher difficulty,will it still count if I don't pick up the doll at the end of the game? Im trying to get the solar gun and I've already picked up all the dolls except for one on the same game file but on another difficulty.Will it still count at the end? Can I kill the boss with lethal weapons if I already have the doll on a previous difficulty? ( Still the same game save ).

unfortunatly u will have to use non-lethal weapons on all of the b&b unit again , good luck, reccomend just using the mosin nagant , that worked for me on all of them
