Is good to waste 400 in a PS3 and why?

May be...
  • I love video games and i want the ps3 but i think that it cost to much is good to use all that money in the ps3 80gb.
  • no of course the PS3 is worth the price, with the PS3 you are getting everything a computer offers you, from storing your own music, to watching your own movies Dvd's, to having a free Ble-ray player, if that's not enough you get free Wi-fi access which is built in, Sony PS3 is like a computer but more. then the PS3 has a .02% failure rate, meaning you won't be having to fear, if your system is going to break down in 1 year etc Microsoft

before i forget you get to have a free hard drive built in, the games are unbelieveable, free access to HOME. and the PSN is better then expected, the only question is, why aren't you thinking of getting PS3, this amazing console is a beauty by giving you everything and more then you could ask. oh did i forget to add PS3 never overheats, so you could play a video games for over countless hours
  • I think its not a waste if you love video games. I had the same doubt and now that I have the PS3 I have no regret buying it. I love it. Its better then my Xbox 360. Its more then just for games it has real-web browsing, you can put music, videos, movies, etc and it has Blu-Ray. also just a suggestion if you do buy it buy the hdmi cables if you have a hd tv. its worth it trust me. the graphics look amazing with the cable
  • Yep i think so !!

I had a Nintendo Wii, ds lite and ps2 before i bought my PS3 and i never play any of them now.

It's brilliant, you can save all your photo's, copy dvd's onto it, store music, the graphics are class and there's a huge selection of games.

I know it's expenive, but it's so worth it. You can buy 2nd hand games for €20 so at least you won't have to be blowing all your money on new games aswell. There's loads of different bundle offer aswell, i bought mine in Xtra-Vision and i got 3 free games with it. You need to shop around to get the best deal.

    Have fun!!
  • I've had the Xbox 360 for 5 years, the PS3 for 3. I've rarely used the Xbox 360 since the day I got the PS3. I like the controller layout better, graphics better, and overall feel of the Playstation home screen (XMB) better. I think makes it easier to find things, and you can personalize it more. Also, the PS3 is a blu-ray player. I love that because I like my movies in hi-def. The PS3 40GB has worked fine for me, and I recommend getting one somewhere if you can because of the cheaper price. But if you are a movie-downloading, getting everything you can off the store until the hard drive is full person, I'd get the 80GB or whatever the amount is that is higher than that. http://www.cowboom.com/store/productDeta...

Thats a site if you want the 40GB PS3.
  • you get so much with the ps3, blu ray player if you love movies, internet browser, free wifi, free online service. great games 400 i though that was way to much but i bought one. and it is the greatest thing i ever did
  • you don't call it waste. it's called investment. and yeah, it is a very good investment. it's a versatile piece of high def technology.
  • I spent just about 600 something dollars on my 60 gig when it came out......Best decision ever. Gaming system, mini computer, and blu-ray player all in one.....sweet.
  • i wasted 546 dollars on my 160gb ps3, and don't regret it
