PS3 & Bioshock: Need internet connection to play single player?

May be...
  • I'm thinking about buying a PS3, and the first game to come along with it would be Bioshock. I was wondering if I needed a internet connection to play the single-player campaign? Or if I need a ie connection to verify my copy? Things like that, etc.

    Thank you.
  • u can play every ps3 game offline...no need for internet

it will work on any tv ..although for best results its best on hd tv...or even a computer monitor

u will get scart cable in ps3 box and power cable and controller so thats all u really need...but id buy a hd tv and get the internet so u can get most out of ur ps3

enjoy if u decide to get one
  • No, it should play straight out of the box with no internet connection. Only games that specifically state they are online only such as SOCOM: Confrontation would require an internet connection.

  • Bioshock has no online play so no you do not need an internet connection.

You can use your old crt tv.

You do not need anything else (Unless you want to go online)

Get one, enjoy it, good luck!
  • no you don't need internet you need it only for online
