Ps3 should i get one?
May be...
i am thinking of geting a ps3, i am going to hget the money from my job so that is not a problem, but i want to know if it is worth the money. some reviews i have read say it is like a entertanment system is this true. Also is there a controller that vibrates or rummbles that is out. Finnaly is the playstation network good, i know it is not as good as the xbox 360 but is it still good?
thanks to anybody who answers
PS does the amount of storage on the ps3 really matter?yes i recommend you get one. try to find one of the older 80 gig bundle packs so you can play ps2 games if you have them plus it has more usb ports and has different card readers. it is the ultimate entertainment system (watching movies in hi def still amazes me how cool it looks) and don't believe what people say when they tell you that xbox live is better than the PSN because they are lieing its just as good (better in my opinion because sony doesn't charge you to use its online services unlike the greedy bastards at microsoft) all of the official PS3 controllers vibrate (i recommend the dualshock3 with sixaxxis because the motion sensing is really fun) and the amount of storage will matter after a while get an 80 gig bundle if you can find one, (they are still out there i found 2 in walmart at cameron mo.) and if you end up wanting more space you can easily put a bigger hard drive in laterOK, please use better grammar and spelling. Anyway, I own two PS3s. I love the PS3 because it offers a lot with the system. Included with it is free network gaming(it has it's ups and downs though), an internet browser, no ring of death like a Xbox 360, etc. Though the PS3 is known for over heating problems(just keep it a few inches from other things and in a well ventilated area), they still operate very will and haven't given me any problems. For space, yes it does matter. They have come out with larger HDD now for the same price so go with the largest, it is just a better investment. Also, the PS3 offers Six Axis controllers which is like a Wii, just not as developed but still fun.I would suggest also to buy a ps3 , yes you should get 1 BUT first i would save my first or second salary and then the second or the third was for the ps3 cause if you bought at the first salary and don't have enough budget you'll have ps3 but you'll have less games depends on your bundle or you'll have no game so just what i suggest think wise, playstation 3 is the da bomb
u shud get it
no but if u do run out then could buy a 2.5 inch sata hard drive up to 500gb hardrive 5400 rpm for around 50 pounds
for xbox you cannot upgrade and only buy these like memory stick things for 120gb for 90 pounds now conpare
500gb for 50 quid or 120gb for around at least 70 pounsd
playstation online is awesome btwps3 has everything you need even wifi and internet, but the only downside is that the play station network is not as good as xbox live.
the memory isnt a big issue you can upgrade it to 320gb for 60 usdJust draw one of course only with the official crayola brand crayons.playstation network is very good and free! Go for it. Better than xboxjust get one. end of storyI answered a question simliar to this only they werent sure for the xbox 360 or playstation 3. I'll copy and paste my answer:
You have to take things into consideration
1. Are you interested in Hi def Movies
2. Are you interested in Hi definition Gaming ? ( THE BEST)
3. Do you like to play online?
4. Do you have wireless internet?
5. How much are you willing to spend?
6. Do you own bluetooth hardware ? Or know what it is?
7.Do you need a console that has websurfing?
8. Do you have a home theatre sytem ( including and HDTV)
9. What previous consoles do you have?
10. What do what your closest friends ( the friends most like you) say about the console?
11. Do you go to your close friends like all the time?
12. Need lots of space to store your media?
These are crucial questions into finding a systems thats for YOU.
If you have a home theatre system, HDTV, want to watch movies in best quality and have money to burn, Have wireless internet ( this is a big thing you know) and need lots of space to store media?. then a ps3 is good for you.
This is because a ps3 delivers all those things right off the bat. Sony says it will last until 2016 ( there ps2 lasted long and still is..). so don't worry about it. But with that said, that can leave you with lots of time to procrastinate and buy a ps3 later. And who knows the price may have dropped by then. ps3 can not play ps2 games but can be downloaded from PSN for a fee however.
If you do not need hi def movies, High def gaming ( the 360 does have good graphics though), don't mind paying $50/year for the best online gaming around. Don't need to much space , own the original xbox and some games, do not need a wirless adapter ( it cost $100 for that, but you could use a laptop,. if you have one..),. If all those things are not what you need and gaming is your main thing. then get a 360. It has more flexible paying option then any other console out now ( including wii) . Starting from low as $200. but the $300 bundle is better deal..
Both are great consoles, that have different needs for every one. Both have great games but the ps3 does have the better upcoming titles for 2009 but the xbox 360 has a much bigger library of games right now.
Also i mentioned. Look at what your friend has , if your friend reccomends a system and you like what he likes get it. Or if your friend is like your neighbour and you go to his house a lot to play. his ps3 ( example) you might just want to get a 360. So then he comes to your house some nights, you go to his.
Hopefully if you take into consideration the questions i asked you can decide what you want.
Happy Gaming Man. any more questions email me at pil_faster@hotmail.com... i don't check my Yahoo mail often..they are good blue ray players and the games are the same as xbox. its has a web browser that's slow/choppy but good for downloading themes and stuff like that. you can get some cool stuff for it like a keyboard(you can use any new keyboard), the eye toy is pretty cool, and the earpiece for the psn is nice(but they are $40). the controller that comes with the newer 80gb/160gb systems has the rumble built in. the playstation network is of very poor quality(it is free though so what can you expect) but you can still get a match going on the most games, there is not near as many people as are on live but that's just because there are not as many ps3 owners, so not as many peole buy all the games. I would just get the 80gb-$399( or 60gb) 160gb-$499, is way more than anyone would need. if your concerned about backwards compatibility than the newer model 80/160gb are not backwards compatiable so get the 60gb, or the first 80gb with four usb ports in the front, the new ones only have two.
