Tell me everything i will need to know about the PlayStation 3?

also is it a good blue ray player because i will also use it as one too.

please help because i have never owned a game system that wasn't made by Nintendo and this looks like a really good system.

Okay, here is basically what you need to know about the PS3.



There are many features. Good ones, too.



Here is what it has:



-Amazing Blu-ray player (it can also obviously play DVDs and CDs too)

-Wi-Fi built in, so that you don't have to buy an Ethernet cable in order to play online

-Internet browser

-You can store music, videos, and pictures.

-Incredible graphics (and better than the Xbox 360 graphics).

-Free online game play (Xbox online game play [Xbox LIVE] is a bit better, but you would have to pay 50$ for that, so I say that the PS3 online is better since it's free).

-Huge list of outstanding exclusives like: Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Killzone 2, MotorStorm, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Warhawk, SOCOM: Confrontation, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Heavenly Sword, and so much more.



Some upcoming exclusives are: God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, inFAMOUS, M.A.G. (256 players online on the same map), Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Ratchet & Clank game, Final Fantasy Versus. XIII, and even more.

it sucks. bad games, and contrary to what most think, worse graphics than the xbox 360 (i've seen them side by side). also they have no more ps2 backwards compatibility and they're overpriced.
