Recording live gameplay on ps3 with playstation eye?

i was wondering i always se those monatges on youtube like people doing tricks and playing on a gmae or somthing and i always wanted to do that but i never know how to do it and i really want to know so i m asking if you can do it with you ps3 eye or is there other methods i dont know about??? and can you eplain them?

Well theres either a program and a box you connect up to your TV that records whats happening on screen. OR if you have a DVD recorder you can record the screen with that, then burn it to a DVD and put it onto your computer. The old school way is to get a camera and just film the screen, but thats bad quality.

You make it with a certain attachment to your TV screen connected to your computer with a program on it. It has nothing to do with the playstation eye, it is just a webcam
