Is there a way to reset a PS3? It was hooked up to a HD TV and then disconnected...now it will not play?

Do you mean you unplugged the HDMI cable? Are you trying to plug it into a standard TV? If so than I heard if you hold down the power button (front of the console) it resets to stanard output (av or whatever.)

no u have to hook it back up to the tv it was last on, and go to display settings then go to the settings the tv that u wanna put it on.say u have a 1080i then u set it to 1080i then shut it down.
