HELP!! My ps3 is acting up..?

May be...

Well today i was playing Mlb the show 2009... i was playing franchise mode.. for about 1-2 hours. just now my ps3 just reseted itself... WTF!! It's not hot, cause im touching the back and its regular..



and yesterday i was playing cod 5 map pack 3.. and me and my friend use the portal to teleport away from the zombies. the first time work perfect, the second time we used the portal the ps3 frooze =/... WTF GOING ON.. i had this ps3 for about 2-3 months.. i always had freezing problem and i was told it was a common problem wih the ps3.. but now its getting annoying

That does not sound like normal PS3 freezing. If you bought that PS3 brand new I would call up Sony to arrange for replacement.

It has to be a problem with your ps3.Its not common for it to reset itself.The web browser does freeze on me but maybe one out of evry 20 times i use it so since youve had it for 2-3 months i would suggest calling sony and replace it.I had my ps3 replaced before and its a very simple task.They will send u a prepaid boxfor ups and u take it to ups and send it off.I send my ps3 on a monday and i got it back on friday so really i would send it in if i were u.

it is common but for me it only happens when i use the web browser and probably happens when you get it but afterwards it should stop from freezing but anyways i would suggest you call SONY they have more knowledge of the problem
