US $50 PS3 PSN CARD IN UK?

Ok I have just bought a US PS3 PSN Money Card and I was wondering if I would be able to use on my UK PS3 back home and if you could explain how I could do it

In order to use the US PSN card, your PSN account has to be american as well. If it isn't create a new account on your Ps3, go to sign up for PSN and this time put your address as an american one, just fake it if you don't know any, it only matters when you pay for something with your credit card.



Once you created your new american PSN account, log into it and choose "Account Management" and then "Redeem codes". Here you type in whatever your code was and, as long as its still new and unused, you'll have US$50 added to your account. You can also go to the PS Store and go to view cart and add funds where it will ask you how you want to add them, just choose the PSN card option and then type in the code.

The PSN Cards only work on USA and Canadian accounts. You have to make one of those accounts.



If you dont want to do that, you can just use a credit card.

You would have to setup an American PSN account since the card can only be used in the USA PSN store, not the UK Store.
