Playstation 3 don't work when i plug it in my car?

I have a Playstation 3 (80 Go) model CECHK01.

In my car, i have a TV and i bought a digital power inverter 200 W.

I can plug my nin 64 and it works perfectly but when i plug my playstation, it dosen't work...



If my digital power inverter is not able to feed my PS3, what should i buy?

Well, the PS3 needs at least a 400 watt power supply continuous (remember not peak), but even so it wouldn't be a good idea because it will get pretty hot in the car.

it could be because the ps3 needs a lot more power than the n64

i dont think it would be a good idea to keep a ps3 in a car
