Which game will be better GOD OF WAR 3 or gears of war 2!?

Gears of war 2 is an fps.... god of war 3 is an adventurous game. like the guy before me said there is no comparison. but i'd have to say god of war 3..

I have a Modem and Cox high speed internet, and a computer the PS2 slim (second generation) and the online setup disc, and the eternal cable.

Also, does the computer have to be online when playing?

Your modem should have a Ethernet cord in it , the Ethernet cord should be hooked up to your hard drive.Take the part thats hooked up to your hard drive and place that in the back of your ps2 slim.Then you are connected to the internet keep the cord in while doing your set up with the disc save the network name and there you go.



My computer isnt on sometimes when i play online but it doesnt matter just as long as your modem is on.

The PS3 doesn't have any slots for PS2 memory cards.



For PSX games, you can probably use the same memory card adapter that you use for connecting the PS2 memory card to the PSX. PS2 memory cards are shaped exactly like PSX memory cards.

if you have a 40gig ps3 you cant cous it doesnt play ps2 games but you could get the adapter for it,however the 60 and 80gig ps3s do play most ps2 games so they do have memory card slots.

you can buy a special memory card adaptor that plugs in to one of the usb ports then you can load data from your old ps2 games

Broken guitar hero 3 controller for ps3?

i got this game for christmas and it has worked fine up until today the fret buttons wont work right they will only hold for a few secs and some time dont work and i dont know what the warranty is or what to do about it some help plzz??

Unfortunately this has been known to happen to quite a few of the controllers for the ps3 version and 360 version.



What I did for mine was to disconnect the 2 pieces and use an air duster or your shirt to wipe the sensors off. This may solve it, if only temporary.

After a month or so of sitting i havent had anymore problems.

Call the makers of the guitar or Sony to see what they suggest.



Its a pain. IMO should be a class action because of selling malfunctioning equipment, but would be hard to prove i suppose.

If you tried to buy stuff from the Playstation Store with a Prepaid Card and it didn't work, then I doubt that it will work.



I use my Visa Debit Card to purchase stuff from the Playstation Store. To get a Visa Debit Card, all you have to have is a Checking Account with a bank. It's safe to use a Credit Card or Debit Card on the Playstation Store.



Make sure that you have filled out all of the Information on the Page for the Visa Card. I don't know if Prepaid Visa Cards have a 3-digit Security Code or a Expiration Date, but I know that you have to enter all of the info correctly.

Okay, do you know how on PS2 games, you could have multiple game saves? Like Game Save 1, 2, 3 , etc.. So that many gamers in the house could share one game with different saves, without having to share one.



Please, tell me that the PS3 has this feature. Because I have Spiderman 3, and Motorstorm, and neither have this. If not, then will future titles have this?

There are already PS3 games out that have a multiple game save feature.

Well some games have it and some games dont. Just like on the ps3 some games do that and some dont thats the excact same on the ps3 and has always been. I dont know about the future.

Some do and some don't but if you would change the user before playing the game it may save to the user name and not the title name

That really depends on the game. If it's that important try finding out before you purchase the game.

yeah dude, you can use the psp memory cards. depending on which model you have. the 40 gig model doesn't have that feature. the 60 and 80 gig models do.

If you get a USB card reader, you could transfer the files through the USB port where you charge the controller.

straight up no lie...they do work...but you'll have to buy and adapter for your ps2 guitar...which will have some glitches on the ps3 for example pull offs and hammer ons won't work...you have to strum every note no exception, and ps3 wireless guitar that comes with guitar hero 3 doesnt work for them but i heard the guitars sold seperatly will...that part im not sure on cuz i haven't bought another guitar...but i have a ps3 guitar and a ps2 guitar and since i have ps3 i dont even play the ps2 guitar heros anymore simply because of the glitches...but if you want to find out for yourself the adapter is sold at gamestop for sure and its either 10 or 15 bucks

Whats the best kind of tv to get if you own a ps3

i know 1080p but whats a couple good name brands to look for...and is plasma or lcd better for it. And do i need to buy anything to go with my tv and ps3. I got a 42 inch lcd 1080i samsung a while back that i have my wii hooked up too. Which it really doesnt matter for the wii...but i did buy the component cable for the wii and it looks better.

I'm looking for a tv around 40 or 42 inches but i want this best kind for viewing and ps3...before when i bought the 1080i i didnt know about 1080p and all that...I got some money and am looking now. I dont want to go money crazy something around 1000 give or take a couple hundred if i can get by with it. Thanks

I personally recommend a Samsung, Sharp, or Sony.



Plasma HDTV's tend to be a little bit cheaper than LCD HDTV's when you get over a certain size (around 40-42").



Older Plasma HDTV's could get burn-in, but the newer models don't get burn-in as easily. Also, Plasma HDTV's cost more money per month to run because they use more electricity than LCD HDTV's.

Plasma TVs are the best because the image doesn't

I bought a 42" LCD 1080p Vizio for @ $1200 and have been very pleased with it.

Honestly, the difference between 1080i and 1080p is not really noticeable unless it is on a huge screen. Use an HDMI cord when hooking up the PS3 ($10 from any online site, they are all the same quality). The component cable can be used instead of an HDMI cable, but if you have the money and the HDMI port on your TV, it may look better with HDMI. Any big name brand TV will do if you still want to buy a new one. (Phillips, LG, Sony)
