Why does my Ps3 keep shutting down my itself?

May be...

I start to play the game, after 10 minutes or so, it turns off by itself. Why is that?

There are many symptoms your PlayStation3 is going through.



If you have "Chipped" or "Modded" your PS3 then there is a chance that it could be playing up. You cannot fix this.



Or if you have surfed the web with your PS3 it may have a virus, to clear this, scan your PS3 with a disc clean up and see how it is. If its still playing up, call Sony and see if your warranty is still valid.



Also lets hope this is just a simple overheating answer. Overheating means when you have been surfing the net on your PS3 too long or playing on it to much

Try and let your system take a rest, pull the cords out and turn it off. Keep it like this for around 24 hours. Turn it back on after 24 hours and see how its going, if good just keep playing =) If it still plays up make sure you call Sony.

This happens when it's overheating. If it's overheating, then you might need to clear the area surrounding your ps3 to let it "breathe."

Probably that's an overheating issue! Try to place your PS3 where the rear side and the right side have enough space for airflow!
