Wireless Router with PS3?

Does the PS3 have a built-in wireless adapter? if so do I just need a Wireless Router to play online?

Yes the PS3 does have a wireless receiver built-in. Also it has a built in ethernet port if you want a wired connection. To answer your question about the wireless router, yes you do need a wireless router or ethernet cable.

If you just need one for your PS3 and maybe a computer or 2 I have a recommendation for the wireless router. I suggest a Linksys WRT54GS. Linksys is a reliable brand and this model is definitely fast enough for gaming and has good range. Also it is fairly cheap at $60-70. I hope this helps.

It does have built in wireless. I spent ages last week trying to set up my mates though. When you get the router, you need to try and get it set up without any security codes running through it. Trust me, makes life much easier

You will just need a wireless router to play with your ps3 online. The ps3 already has a wireless adapter built inside.
