Some questions about PS3?

May be...

I'm thinking of buying a PS3 and I have a few questions.

Does it need a specific controller for specific games or any PlayStation controller would do for any game? Because I think 55$ is too expensive for a simple controller, and that's the price tag of the "DualShock 3" wireless thing.

And how would PS3 work on a non-HD Tv, would it be just less good-looking or are there any others problems?

Is online play free or is it a costly subscription like Xbox Live?

Your console will come with a Sixaxis controller. Others can be purchased around $20-30 if you look in the right places. I agree DS3 is expensive.



PS3 will work just fine on a SD tv. Your picture wontbe the greatest but it works just fine.



The PSN is free. You only pay for products if you decide to purchase them(ie. downloadable games or content.)

You need a controller specific to the ps3, you can get controllers as cheap as $30 if you but it from a company other than Sony, but those controllers don't have rumble or sixaxis. Its really not that expensive when you see that a 360 controller with rechargeable batteries is $70.



If you don't have a HDTV there won't be any problems. it just won't look as good.



Online play is free.

You can use a ps2 controller with the ps3 if you buy a adaptor but i would rather buy a official ps3 sixaxis!prices coming down because of the ds 3 release!



ps3 would work well on a normal tv using scart/av cable. think it function at 576i on a normal non hd tv. hd tv obviously is the best to take full advantage of the graphics!

The ps3 comes with a controller in the box so unless you want to play with more people you would have to buy one.

The graphics are actually pretty decent on an sdtv, of course its not hd, but that doesnt mean it still doesnt look good.

And the online is free if you have internet.

1) Some game dont require a specific controller but if u want u could get the DS3 because some games are DS3 compatible
