What's the point or use for the remote play of PS3?

So you can download files from PSN and install updates while your away so you don't have to do it when your home. And I think you can play ps1 games downloaded on your ps3 using your psp

If I am at school bored I can use my psp to access my ps3 and everything stored on it or stored on an external harddrive attached. I can stream all the music , videos, movies, to the psp and watch them or listen to music. I can even play games streamed to the psp that are on the ps3 like the ps1 games , and some of the psn network games.

i kind of see y ur askin dis cus wats da point of browsin ur files and stuff on ur psp frm a short range wen u can do da exact same thing on a bigger screen without holding anything to ur face or straining ur neck 2 look down. so 2 tell da truth, it think remote play is a load of BS

the point is that u can browse ur files and download from the playstation network store out of ur house
