When is the update for the playstation 3 where you can acess the xbm menu bar during a game going to be out?

I thought it was going to be available June 18 but all there was was the 2.36 update.

The 2.36 fixed some online issues but ciritcally it prepared the PS3 for the system overahil that will come with 2.40 and give it in game XMB.



2.40 has now been fully confirmed and will be released before the month is out.

That was just a rumor.



Sony has confirmed 2.40 but there is not solid release date yet. Expect it by the end of this month.
