Does anybody know how to get rid of PS3 scratches?

My PS3 has scratches, though the scratches are only visible in light. I took back my original PS3 that I got for Christmas due to scratches. It bothers me a lot seeing those nasty scratches when I look at my PS3 in the light, does anybody know of a formula I can buy to get rid of those nasty scratches on my PS3, and where I can buy this PS3 scratch remover formula? Is there anyway I can get rid of my PS3 scratches WITHOUT having to purchase anything?

Ok so some people had some questions about this method, so obviously I had to go out and test it on my PlayStation 3.... yes, i applied it and it worked.

This cloth WILL NOT SCRATCH YOUR PLAYSTATION 3. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PLAYSTATION 3 WITH ANYTHING BUT THIS.



This is the first thing I can honestly say is true, is when taking the dust off my PlayStation 3, this thing didnt scratch it at all, however i did have some extremely tiny micro scratches probably from the manufacturer. this didnt put any more on it. What a relief.



its 15'x15' so its quite large, and very unexpencive.



second thing.



is buy Novus Plastic Polish #1 and #2. http://www.tapplastics.com/shop/product.... .



Novus Polish #2 takes out micro scratches and helps restore your systems natural color while not being too harsh on it. However.



ON FIRST IMPRESSION DO NOT BE FREAKED OUT!.



The Novus 2 is brown/grey, but rubs in easy.



You want to apply just a bit on your cloth for about every 2 or 3 square inches, so about 3 dabs all together for your ps3 cover. and rub it in good and thurough, dont do it too wimpy.



Once you do that, you might see a lil hazy coating on your ps3, dont worry tho, thats what novus #1 is for.



Novus #1 is a beautiful polish and cleaner, making your ps3 shine and look vibrant possibly better than what it looks like out of the box for the first time.



It almost completely removes the novus #2 and leaves this nice coat on it that apparently is fog resistance and some other nice things, this liquid is clear and watery so yea dont fret.



Other than my 7-LED flashlight that emmited White Light onto my PS3 so i could see every detail, you will be able to do this at home the same way.



the only reason why i used this flashlight is because at point blank exposure it showed litrally every detail that the naked eye couldnt get in normal conditions, I noticed that the novus 2 really did take out those micro scratches and the thing became very shiny, if not shinyer than it did friday morning when i opened it.





So what did this cost me?



Less than 10$.



10$ to make your PlayStation 3 look good 24/7/365 because i can reapply this whenever needed, most likely whenever it gets dusty i will reapply just novus 1 and dust it with the cloth.



Remember not to put the novus on any other cloth - only use the micro fiber one, and when your done, just stick it in the wash, no problems!

not sure but mine is the same the scratches make me feel bad cuz i remember when i just got it how it looked so cool now i dnt like the look of it i wanna buy a new cover but i dnt know wher to get them but if u find a way email me plz i want it took look like before

They should be easy to just wipe out with an ordinary cloth. You might have to wetten it, but if you do so, make sure your PS3 has no wires in it, and you use very very very very little water
