  • on the cross bar (main menu) select GAME under this option select MEMORY CARD UTILITY PS/PS2 then press X select NEW INTERNAL MEMORY CARD and then press X you will need to assign a slot ( 1 or 2) 1 is the usual choice of the game.this should now let you save your PS/PS2 game
  • i believe what you're acctually looking for is the PS3 Memory Card Adapter ; here's the link click on it and then buy it ; and then you can put a PS2 memory card in it to save http://www.gamestop.com/browse... Report Abuse
  • trust me i owned 1 ; and use it from time to time ; while i'm playing PS2 games ; it works great :) Report Abuse

  • what r u talking about the ps2 gams do save on the ps2 it goes to a seperate file on the hdd just if u want to transfer memory from the ps2 to the ps3 u would need the adapter to get it on the ps3
  • on the ps3 xmb (main menu), go to game, then memory card utility (ps/ps2) then create new internal memory card and bam
  • I had the same problem then I came across the internal memory card for PS1/PS2 so I created a PS2 memory and TA DA
  • You need a PS2 memory card. You can buy on from Best Buy for 10-15 dollars.
  • you don't need to by a memory card!!!! on the PS3 XMB you can create a memory card on your hard drive
  • PS2 games DO save on the PS3 hard drive...

Just open up a virtual memory card with the ps3.
