If I bought a PS3 would I need to sell my DVD player (I hear that PS3;s can play DVD's as well as Blu Ray) also which version is the best to buy (20,40,60 gb) also is Sony dropping in the quality of the Playstation 3 to cut production costs?,and how does the PS3 compare to the Xbox 360???.Thanks

Well u wont need a dvd player.

u cannot buy the 20gb or the 40gb or the 60gb anymore. they only sell the 80GB (2007 and 2008 versions) and maybe a few 40gbs. the 80gb is better. No, there is no quality drops, just a few minor adjustments to slightly useless things like multi card reader, ps2 compatibility.

PlayStation 3 is only worth it if u have enough money. and want the best of the best games, such as metal gear solid 4.

Xbox 360 is worth it if u want a whole load of games and a bit of freedom with online gaming.

PlayStation 3 OBVIOUSLY has better hardware, but it's not very useful if you only get games which are for 360 too, might as well get a 360.

Xbox 360 just proves you can do SOO MUCH with so little.

PlayStation 3 just proves they can do so much more with so much more.

Well,the PS3 plays both DVD's and Blu-ray DVD's,so i wood sell my DVD player.

The PS3 20gb/60gb got discontinued.I think the 40gb got discontinued too,but i'm not to sure.Sony has made a new 80gb ps3,and lowered the price on it to $399.99 instead of $499.99. the new 80gb is exactly like the 40gb but double the HDD.The xbox 360 is awesome when it comes to online.the ps3 is pretty good online too,but the ps3 has really good quality in games.Get the ps3!

no, the quality is the same only they removed the ability to play ps2 games, reduced number of usb ports, card readers from selected models.

PS3 can play DVD games alright,not sure about movies.

The quality is the same,just some accesories(Card Readers,PS2 compability etc.) has been removed.

360 is gonna be outdated in 1.5 years time.So get a PS3.

They sell the 40GB,80GB and 160GB(in November).

Google it.
