Playstation 2 Parental Controls password?

May be...

I tried to watch a DVD in my Playstation 2 the other day and it asked me for a 4-digit password because the movie was above a G rating. What the he** is the password??? I looked through the manual and didn't find any password. I also asked a friend of mine and he said the default password is 9999, but that wasn't it. Does anybody know?

power on>reset>inset DVD..when board comes up telling you parental control is on>hit select>it will say enter password>hit select>it will say delete password>enter in 7444>hit X



supply one you will remember, or write it down.



If this doesn't work only unplugging the playstation for 48-72 hours will clear this...

If 0000 doesn't work, try 7444 to reset the password.

try the good old zero's

a good 0000 shood do it.
