Ps3 internet connection?

May be...

i have a comcast phone modem that is said its used for internet, cable, and phone. but the problem that i have is the phone modem didn't worked without a motorola comcast modem for internet. so now the phone modem is connected to the motorola comcast internet, and every time i want to play online for the ps3, i tried connecting it to the internet modem and the phone modem and none of em seem to work!! please help if you know or some hints! thanks!
