COD5 PS3... how much?

May be...
  • I know it's $64.99 @ Bestbuy and Futureshop... but why is it $10 more expensive that Amazon? I pre-ordered mine at Amazon.ca for only $54.99 and shipping is free... are they probably taking advantage of it's popularity knowing that people would get it at any cost?
  • probably. but game shops needs to pay for more staffs. while amazon should have less staffs and they got a big warehouse
  • Amazon is a website with almost no overhead costs, they don't have to pay to run a store, pay staff and ship the items to the store. They just have to pay for the items and store them in a warehouse until they sell them to you where Futureshop and BestBuy have all of the other costs I mentioned above. Granted though I find it strange that almost every other PS3 game that has come out recently costs $59.99 in Canada like Resistance 2, BioShock, LittleBigPlanet, etc. I would try EB Games or Wal-Mart and see if they are selling the game for $59.99 like it should be.
  • Those who have played the demo or the beta will know that it may not be as popular as COD4 was. COD5 is going to be 59.99 just like any other new release, if it is any more then that, then it is special edition or the store is violating the software price policies.
  • It is probably more because of the damn economy in the USA but this game cost 60 plus state tax but here in NYC u can get it for like 58, people really wont get it at good cost, people are buying resistance 2 more.
  • ^^ Actually this COD will be as Popular. Probably even more, Because the Beta players are even buying this.

But the dude above me is right about the prices.
  • All I've seen is $59.99 where I live (New England). The best deal I've seen on COD5 is to buy it at Toys 'R Us, the game is $59.99 and you get a $15 dollar gift card.

  • Go AMAZON.COM!
  • yeah they are.
