What are the specific product defects of each ps3?

May be...
  • 40gb, 60 gb, 80, 160... What is best? 60s have backward compatibility and are hard to come by. 160 is huge? Which ones are having problems?
  • The first generation 20 and 60 models have been having issues with Blu Ray lens failures. The newer models are much more reliable, but suffer from the occasional software or HDD glitch. A lot of times it is due to an update corrupting the system, but overall the PS3 is extremely reliable, especially compared to the 360.

Screw backwards compatibility and buy a brand new one. Avoid the 60's and the 20's at all costs. The 80 should suit you fine. The 160 would prevent you from ever having to replace the drive for a bigger one. Either choice is a much smarter one than buying a 60 from some scam artist on Ebay.
  • All are working great even the 20gb's ones which were the first ones released are still working, but if you mean by features then all of them play ps1 games only some of them play ps2 games and those ones that play ps2 games have 4 usb ports instead of 2.
  • PS3 are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    they are perfect
  • The 60 gb.
