What makes playstation 3 better then XBOX 360?

CONS:

PS3 -

1. New PS3's can't play PS2 games

2. 1 year warranty

3. Cost $150 to fix it if passed your 1 year warranty.





Xbox360 -

1. 33% fail rate meaning you can't play it and if you want to fix it you have to send it to microsoft for them to fix it and you will get it back approx. 2 WEEKS and has 33% of it failing again [PS3 has 0.2%]

2. Pay for online gaming $50 a year

3. Have to buy many add ons

4. Buy a recharger for controllers.

There are three different memory for the PS3. The 40 GB can only play PS3 Games, but the 80 and 160 GB can play PS3 and PS2 games. I would prefer the PS3 instead of the Xbox 360 Because On the PS3 you don`t have to pay so you can play online. On the Xbox 360 you have to pay for Xbox Live. Also on the PS3 you can surf on the internet using wifi and it has Blu-Ray DVD Player installed. But the Xbox 360 is cheaper than the PS3.

only the very old 80gig ps3 with the emotion engine chip in them will play ps2 games. i don't think there are any more that will be made that way, you would have to find an old one used somewhere. the ps3 plays blu rays and the 360 doesn't. i bought a ps3 about 2 years after i bought my 360 and i said i would sell my 360... but i cant talk myself into it cause i still like it too much even though i only play my 360 like once every 2 weeks.



a big thing to is the ps3 comes wi-fi ready! the 360 usb wi-fi network adapter cost $99.99!!!! and you have to pay a monthly fee to use their service ( about 10-15 bucks) after you buy their 100 dollar gadget.



i had to move my 360 in my house and could no longer run off the ethernet cable and my xbox live subscription was expired. i was going to cost me 100 bucks for that stupid thing that should come with the 360 when you buy it!... and another 80 buck or whatever for another one year membership... so i was like F-it... i'm just gonna buy a ps3. either way im not getting off any cheaper than 180 bucks. i might as well spend the extra cash and get a ps3 cause then i can watch blu rays too!



but i still think i like "xbox live" is better than "playstation network". but i'm cheap and i don't like paying for a monthly service for my game system... not when your already paying 40 bucks a month for a broadband internet connection.



if you don't have either don't worry about which one you should by cause you'll end up with both. and if you already have one... then it's time to buy the other cause its better... at doing some things. LOL

What makes it better is that it plays blu-ray you have free wi-fi and online play free sign up for PSN.The ps3 also has some good exclusive it doesn't break as much as the xbox 360.



but then again the xbox 360 beats the ps3 in loading the xbox 360 loads much faster than the ps3.

Yes, you can play ps2 games on ps3. The only bad part is... the ps2 game will show up in a box, instead of full screen.

Xbox 360 has better online play :D
