Does 80GB PS3 play PS2 Games?

The only 80GB PS3's that can play PS2 games are the Motor Storm 80GB bundle and the Metal Gear Solid 4 80GB bundle, both of which have 4 USB ports and built in memory card slots.



The new 80GB models can not play PS2 games, and only have 2 USB ports and no memory card slots.



ALL PS3's with 4 USB ports and built in memory card slots can play PS2 games, ALL PS3's with 2 USB ports and no memory card slots can not play PS2 games.

the old version has 4 usb slots and a memory card reader. this is the version that can play PS2 games. that one is no longer made.

the 80GB that is being sold now has only 2 usb slots and no memory card reader. this one can't play PS2 games.
