PS3 Burnout: Paradise?

Alright here is the deal, I got a PS3 for christmas, and downloaded Burnout: Paradise from the PS3 store to my PS3 (I DIDN'T BUY IT! SO IT IS DOWNLOAD NOT DISC!) and I have the version 1.6 and the party pack, on the website it says that Cops and Robbers is coming out soon to download, but when I get online, I see a lot of cop cars, how do I get them, is it like a career thing, or am I just missing the download (if so where can I find it, burnout store, PS3 store, etc.)

u have to beat most of the career mode to get the cool cop cars.

I thought it was going to be an upcoming DLC. Not sure, I just got Burnout like 2 hours ago :P.
