I just got a ps3 today and i have 2 questions so far?

May be...
  • 1. can i put a towl underneath it or can i put it on basic wood 2. do i need the plug to the controller to play or can i have it roam free from it
  • 1. You should just put it in a place where it will receive good ventilation. The towels might absorb heat for the console.

    2. Depends. If you got the 3rd party wired controllers, you need to plug them in. If you got the SIXAXIS/DualShock 3, you have to sync it by plugging it into a USB port and pressing the PS button. Then you can play wirelessly.
  • I would put it on the floor rather than on a towel as this can make it unsteady, or you could by a stand for it that doesn't cost that much money around £15-£20. And 2nd if you have a wireless controller that is Rechargeable then leave this plugged in until it charges FULLY and then start to use it, if you do not do this then while you are playing on it, it will run out quickly. So it is best to charge it fully, and then enjoy!!
  • 1. Either is acceptable. The towel would probably keep it from water damage and if it gets knocked over then it has a softer landing.

    2. If it's a wired controller you need the plug. If it's wireless you need the wireless adapter so the signals can be picked up; if that's what you're saying.
  • I wouldn't put a towel under it.

THe controller that comes with it is wireless. you only need to plug it in to recharge it. You can play with the controller plugged in if your battery gets low but you want to keep going.
  • 1. is not r3commendable that u put a towl

    2.the dualshock3 is a wireless controller
  • 1. no, the Towel can hold heat and moisture.

    2. no, just unplug and roam
