If i upgrade a ps3 to 320gb will the option and settings all be there still?

May be...
  • things like playsation home and life with playstation and photo gallery?
  • The PS3's operating system (XMB) will still be there when you upgrade. You may need to re-download some things (like a system update and Home), but the XMB won't disappear.

All of your files will be gone though. If you want to save any game saves, pictures, video, etc. then you need to back them up and transfer them to the new drive. You'll also have to re-install any games that require an install to play.
  • Get an external HD and backup everything onto it then change your HD and restore everything and before you buy one make sure you take the tray with you my 320G didn't fit in the tray and if it doesn't fit in there it won't work i had to get a 250
