Ps3,will it work or not?

May be...

I am planning on buying an item on ebay without the memory card cover, and no hardrive...I can get the hardrive...but will it work without the cover????

I wouldn't trust ebay I would rather buy it from a store as you get warranty because if that PS3 is broken and it wont read the discs then there is nothing you can do about it.
