HELP my PSP went out!?

May be...

I recently updated my psp from the play station website & idk if this caused my PSP screen to turn black. The green little light still comes on but the screen is completely black! It was working perfect for a few days before it went out after the update! Can someone please tell me whats wrong?! & no it hasn't been hacked in to or modded or whatever...lol HELP plz!!!!!!

try updating it again it should work! if not try reseting it

You have completely bricked your PSP. Since you do not use custom firmware, there is no possible way for you to recover your PSP on your own.

This will be the easiest method to fixing your PSP. It will also allow you to enable custom firmware, but this is a choice. You can simply fix your PSP and use the original firmware.

it happened to my nephew's PSP. if you are playing hacked games or if you PSP is using a hacked software, you should not update your firmware. These updates are made for security reason and for detecting piracy. Now, you PSP is entirely blocked. The only way to fix this is to go back to your old firmware version. It will take some skills and special tools to do it so I am suggesting that you look for shops to do it for you. That is the only way.

try charging it, but I would call sony, they supposedly have good customer service.

try charging over night if that dosent work i think u may need need a new screen or a new psp. sorry
