Do you think the ps3 i have still would work?
May be...
ok this guy i met at my gfs dads house his girlfriend threw his ps3 out of the window cause they broke up then i told him i could try to fix his ps3 and i took the body parts off and screws kinda broke the clips cause i didnt no that it could slide right off so i ended up breaking it but anyways the left or right side is BENT and the fan some how got unplugged when i turn it on it shows the red light when i click reset then it show the green then red light so i need to know or somone send me a link to a pic that shows the fan working plugged in
thanks
man she sounds insane btw lolIt sounds like something's up with it if the the light is going from red to green & then back to red again (should stay green). It may be that the fan just needs connecting up, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Without knowing which version of the PS3 you've got it's hard to say where you need to be looking to connect the fan up (it's going to need it).
Have a look at http://www.voodish.co.uk/articles/ever-w... as this has some videos about dismantling a PS3, may help you ID the fan connector.

If you don't have any joy with these just do a Google search for PS3 hardware pics, or inside PS3. You should find some pics that may help..
Fingers crossed, & I hope you're lucky.Hilarious story, i would cash in on these pieces while you still have the chance, cos i doubt you will get that fixed, with that money, hopefully you will have enough to buy a new PS3, asnd hopefully some money from your gfs dad.You aren't gonna be able to fix it. I don't think even Sony would be able to fix it.
No one will buy a broken PS3. I'd take the hard drive out and throw the rest in the rubbish bin.if the fan is not working it could overheat the ps3 and might cause a fire or will overheat the ps3 too much and freeze while ingameinsane? i would be realllly pissed off with her if she threw my PS3 out the window. they should sew her or sumthing for damaging property
