PS3 dualshock 3 vs. sixaxis?
May be...
do they use the same cables? if not what is the difference
are they still selling the six axis or did they discontinue it?
thx O_oThey use the same cables, buttons, blah blah blah.
The only difference is that the DualShock 3 is heavier (even though it's heavy, it kind of feels nice in the hands), and it has a rumble feature.
The SixAxis is lighter (it does feel kind of cheap), and has no rumble.
So the DualShock 3 is better. And they don't sell the SixAxis anymore.wtf?! This is the third question on the exact same topic I saw today. If people would read instead of asking their own question everytime we'd all save some time.
Again, the only difference is the dualshock has a rumble feature and is slightly heavier. But you can't really tell a difference in weight.
And the same wire is used since it's practically the same controller. The main difference is that the Dualshock 3 has a vibration feature, hence the name. Other than that, it's basically the same controller as the Sixaxis in terms of buttons, USB port, and shape.Neither even have cables.. DS3 has rumble/vibration feature as well as the same sixaxis motion control, and sixaxis doesn't. They stopped selling the sixaxis in favor of the newer model.Sixaxis is lighter, feels kind of cheap, no rumble.
DS3 is heavier so it doesn't feel like it will fly out of your hands, and has rumble.
That's pretty much it.Main difference is DS3 is heavier and has vibration. Sixaxis is lighter and doesn't have a rumbleDUALSHOCK HAS RUMBLE AND SIXAXIS DOESNT. THEY STILL SELL BOTH OF EM BUT THE SIXAXIS I THINK IT CHEAPER THAN THE DUALSHOCKYes, difference is that dualshock has a rumble feature.
They are still selling themyeah same cords and they sell both
