Playstation 3 Help Please?

May be...

okay so my sonic disc got jammed in my ps3, it would unmount but stay in the console, so after an hour of fidling i used a paper clip to get the disk out.



now, im not sure if it was the disc or the ps3 because



1. its a used game from a rental store(rogers) and i peeled off the sticky tapr ring near the center so theres a residue of tape left. but idk if that would cause anything.



2. i have ejected the disc before



3. i can now enter and eject discs okay now.



im just really worried cause i never force the disch,smack it in or anything.

it was the ps3 i think because of your past history but your thing where the discs come in must not be clean so i recommend you clean it out and you won't have any problems
