Question about PS3 about its internet?

hey guys im thinking about buying a PS3 however i heard that there was an internet in 80gb PS3 when they say internet do they mean like open a browser go to like google or type in www. yahoo.com or internet as in like play online multiplayer games

The PS3 has an internet browser. You'll need your own internet service, obviously.



You can't play internet games though (like Yahoo Games or MSN Games). The internet browser is actually one of the biggest weakpoints of the PS3 since you can't access every single site with it. The Browser is its own browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox) and many websites don't support it.

Yes you can go to the internet on the PS3 and do what you mentioned. Their is a browser that you can use. I use it to watch youtube videos and go on justin.tv. I am a bit unsure about using JAVA.
