I set the hdmi settings too high on my PS3 and I cant put it back!!!?

I just hooked up my hdmi cables to my new tv and accidentally set the picture quality too high to 1080p instead of the 1080i resolution. Now i have a blank screen on my tv because it doesnt support that picture quality so i cant see what im doing. Is there a way to completely restore my PS3 without having to see the screen, maybe on the console? I already tried holding down the power button and all that does is reset it. HELP ME I WANT TO PLAY!!!!!!

Ok, this is a common problem. First, turn off your ps3 from the back with the switch. Now, when you go to turn it on, instead of just tapping the power button in the front, hold it down for 5 seconds. This will reset the display and sound settings and automatically use the lowest settings so u can see no matter what tv your using.



I do this all the time when i switch from my HDTV to my Standard Def tv.

You need to reset your console.



Turn it off, then hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a second beep

Sony isn't coming out with a 120GB PS3, but they have announced a 160GB PS3 and it will cost $499 and it will be bundled with a Dualshock 3 controller and Uncharted Drakes Fortune. The 160GB PS3 will be available in limited quantities and it's coming out in November.

Ok So my Xbox 360 got the RRoD :( so I decided to Use my Old PS2 and I Discovered a Ethernet port (or what i think is) so I am using my Xbox 360 Ethernet cord do I have to but a specific cord. Here are my Specs (Dont ask what Specs are) ok I have a Linksys Router I bought 8/2008 and a Modem (I have DSL). And when I try to set up it asks for my User ID that I use for my internet provider (It is Verizon btw) does that mean I type in my E-Mail Example: ABCD@verizon.net Pass:123456 do i do that or something else sorry to bug you with this long question!! Thanks for looking!!

Yep thats exactly what you do. Whatever the sign in ID for the master account for your Verizon is what you'll be using. If i remember right there is also an option to just do an auto set-up for high speed internet. I've done it both ways back when i played SOCOM on the ps2.

New Zealand and Australia are twin countries. I bought my Ps3 at EB games. They had a deal, they were selling a brandnew Ps3. It was $799NZD ( $699 in AU ). And an add-on, just add $99NZD ( $89 AU ) and you would get an extra controller, and 2 games.



So it turned up that we bought the Ps3 for $541NZD. Because 1 game costs $129NZD and it was 2 games so it was $159NZD. And an extra controller that costs $99NZD.



I think that they EB games are still selling those bundle deals.



So try looking for EB games if you are buying a Ps3 console. BUT, if you are buying a GAME, don't buy from them! Because they are rip-offs!



I always go to www.trademe.co.nz ( But that's for NZ ).



But I think you could go to E-bay Australia.

how do you beat the chick with the wings!! you know the one in hades.

Whenever she throws a green ball at you use the shield to reflect it back, once you've done that she will reflect it to you again, just keep reflecting the same ball over and over until she falls down (usually 3 time at the beginning, around 5 times near the end) once she is down run up to her and start slashing at her with your blades until she gets up. Avoid the other attacks (Green circles on the floor that Injure you, Green light ray that follows you). Be careful when she grabs you, do the controls that show up on the screen at the right time or you'll get burned, or crushed by the big dude that's holding the sky. In the end she will have low Life she will go to the floor and cover herself (nothing you do will damage her) go to the yellow light on the field (looks like the light you use to save) and use your shield use the controls that show up and don't miss any of them or you will die. Congrats you just beat God of War: Chains of Olympus.



Also if you play on the Easiest mode it should be easy once you know how, just run a lot and reflect the ball. If you miss the ball it will be sometime before you get another chance. And if you haven't mastered reflecting attacks back using your shield you will master it during this fight.



One more thing, once your finished with the game start a new game in God mode right away and save if you want to play God Mode, because if you dont save right away you will need to fight her again if you still have the save file on the memory stick or do the entire game all over again if deleted it from your memory stick duo.

well if you are going by the year 2008 then there will be many reputable sources handing out the game of the year award but I'm sure among those awards GTA IV MGS4 and little big planet will receive those



from all the games you mentioned i too would hope gears 2 has a chance of at least getting an honorable mention because the first one was horded by tonnes of problems

None of these games will be Game of The Year. You also forget some major titles man. Big ones. Resistance 2, Little big Planet, Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4.



But out of that category I'd pick Fallout 3 hands down.

You missed Resistance 2. I think that's going to be game of the year.
